Full Circle Farms, an organic produce delivery service is expanding to include Northern California next month, and announcing its presence with donations to local food banks and giveaways.

Through its Dinner’s On Us Sweepstakes, for every “Like” received on its facebook page Full Circle will donate one pound of organic produce to the San Francisco and Marin Food Banks, and the Alameda County Community Food Bank. In addition to supporting food banks, entrants will also be eligible to win one of the following:

Grand Prize – A gourmet dinner for eight prepared in-home by award-winning chef Jordan Schachter of Jordan’s Kitchen (a $2,000 value)
2nd Prize – Dinner for two at Chez Panisse or Greens Restaurant (10 winners)
Early Bird Giveaway – The first 1,000 people to enter the sweepstakes will receive two free boxes of Full Circle organic produce

p.s.  Yes, this is paid advertising of a sort, I signed up for their Sneak Peak promotion and will receive free produce for a month!  So in foodhoe form, I’m working for food…  I’ll post about it too, because I’m interested to see if they are going to include local products, instead of shipping them from Washington state, because that defeats the whole CSA model doesn’t it?  Since I’ve been a local CSA girl from way back, this should be interesting .
