Shiny and bright

by foodhoe on December 24, 2012

I received this lovely necklace last month in the mail after I signed up to participate in a survey panel from Sunset Magazine and was selected to receive this as a special gift from Coldwater Creek!  It’s a blingy party piece made of luminous glass pearls and dramatic pave crystals, the beautiful Art Deco necklace is still available and on sale too.  My kitty was very intrigued by the shiny sparkly baubles which I thought looked quite lovely against the sleek sheen of her grey fur.

In fact, she inspired me to wear it with a grey sweater, but then pearls go with just about everything!  Mr. K prefers simple and looked doubtfully at me as we departed for our holiday potluck, but I received many compliments, probably because I never wear big shiny costume jewelry.  Sometimes it’s fun to be flamboyant, so if anyone covets this statement piece, please comment below and if I get more than one response, I’ll randomly pick a lucky name.

My kitties and I send warm holiday wishes to you all!

Update:  We have a winner!  Congratulations to Anne, I hope you enjoy the pearls!

Looks gorgeous with the grey sweater and just enough bling.

I love pearls! They can look a little stuffy, but these are perfect because there are some other great items mixed in with the pearls. Seeing them with your cats made me think of my late gorgeous grey Maine Coon Smokey. First Christmas without him – it’s not the same without him drinking out of the Christmas tree water holder.
Hope your holidays are happy.

Anne, I hope you enjoy the necklace! I lost a kitty this past year too, sorry for your loss, but thanks for sharing that great memory of your kitty drinking out of the tree water holder! Hope you have the best new years ever.
