gambinos subs

1 Embarcadero Center, San Francisco

I walk by this on my way to work all the time, and I was first sucked in because they advertise that they serve Graffeo coffee, a local favorite of mine… also the sign for breakfast sandwiches caught my eye…

I ordered the breakfast sub, which came on a nice soft crusty roll with scrambled egg, mozzarella cheese and bacon, lots of bacon. It was very tasty, although it was kind of plain. I think it would be much better if there was some sort of sauce, or a vegetable, but it has good bones…

Gambino - egg w/bacon breakfast sandwich

I also tried the egg, cheese and ham breakfast sandwich, which was even better. And of course I noticed after I ordered that you can order grilled veggies, which now I must go back and try…

Ham, egg, cheese crosswise

The bread is a soft sweet roll kind of fluffy and with a lightly crunchy crust – another very fine meal to start your work day…

I generally walk by here 7-7:30ish and often stop by just for coffee, which is always freshly brewed at that time and there is no line. The line across the street at Peet’s is generally out the door and I prefer the local Graffeo coffee anyways!

Holy Macaroni!
Just (and i say just) out of curiosity, what’s your height and weight?
Unfortunately I’m only 165 cm and 73 kg.
Oh well, I shall stick to quality!

!! shame on you !!

I am blessed with a healthy metabolism… I fall in the category of average (although that is from a corn-fed American perspective)

Good on you!
Ok, I might actually have a metabolism more adapted to drinking, then!
I shall toast to that this evening!
Take good care of yourself!
looking forward to the next post!
